The East Yorkshire group was started in 1975 with about 20 members. Today it is one of the largest groups within the National Vintage Tractor & Engine Club (NVTEC).

During the winter months, meetings, many with guest speakers giving talks on engines, tractors or other interesting subjects are held. The June meeting is normally an outside visit to a place of interest.

A rally and tractor road run and are also organised.
